Netpbm - a toolkit for conversion of image formats
Netpbm is a set of tools for conversion of images between a variety of
different formats, as well as to allow a few basic image operations. The
package is intended to be portable to many platforms.
NIH Image Home Page
NIH Image is a public domain image processing and analysis program for the
Macintosh. It was developed at the Research Services Branch (RSB) of the
National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), part of the National Institutes of
Health (NIH).
A free PC version of Image, called Scion Image for Windows, is available from
Scion Corporation. There is also Image/J, a Java program inspired by Image that
"runs anywhere".
Paintlib - C++ Class Library
paintlib is a library of image file decoders. It is useable from C++-programs

ECMA-262 - JavaScript Language Standard

begun to send MIME encoded mail. I find it to be rather
annoying, if I wanted pictures I would use Emacs-W3 or Nutscape to
